Fish tacos that are so fresh and tasty.... what diet? I have been loving this fish taco recipe. It is fresh and so satisfying - you are sure to love it. And those of you that might have a difficult time eating fish for your weekly plan - this will make it EASY!!!! Like I always say - liking your food is half the battle!
Ingredients:
Tilapia or Cod
Lettuce (very thinly sliced)
Corn Tortillas or Low Carb Flour Tortillas
Limes (if desired)
Use any no salt seasoning for your fish
Added Fats:
Shredded Cheese
Avocado
Added Sauces:
Herdez Avocado Hot Sauce
Taco Bell Sauce
Directions:
Pan fry your fish and add about a 1/2 cup of water once fish is almost cooked through to add some moisture to your fish. Then build your tacos. Toast your tortillas, add your lettuce, add your fish, cheese or avocado or both (depending on your meal plan) and lastly add your sauce (be sure not to over do it with your sauce). And ENJOY!!!!!
Flavorful tip: When I am toasting my tortillas I spray them with "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" and I add chipotle seasoning to add more spice and flavor to my fish taco meal.
